There are many ways in which anyone can get involved in the work of the FoTB...... all we ask is an understanding of, and agreement with, our aims and a willingness to help achieve them.

The easiest way of supporting the FoTB is to join us. Membership is open to individuals, families and groups on payment of a small subscription (set annually by the Board of Trustees at the FoTB's AGM). See the page on this website for information on how to join us.

Joining the FoTB doesn't commit you to anything other than supporting our aims (and paying the subs!), but if you want to become more directly involved, we're also always on the lookout for willing volunteers to undertake any of the following tasks:

• fundraising, either in person at events or through online/postal appeals,

• promoting our activities on social media,

• researching potential grant sources and applying for grants,

• helping keep membership records and contact lists up to date,

• taking and distributing minutes of meetings,

• general admin (stuffing envelopes etc.),

• acting as volunteer stewards at events on the Bandstand,

• manning FoTB information stalls at events in the Civic Centre or across the town,

• contributing to.... even editing.... a newsletter,

• ..... and of course anything else that you, or we, may think of that will help us achieve our aims!

Of course, if you don't feel able to actively volunteer, you can always donate a lump sum towards the fund for restoring and preserving the Bandstand. See the page on "donating towards the work of the FoTB" for more information.

Above all, thank you to everyone who supports us, whether by joining, volunteering or donating..... you're ALL helping to preserve the Bandstand for future generations to enjoy.
