	How do I join the FoTB?
	There are two types of membership of the Friends of Trowbridge Bandstand. These are: Full (Trustees) Members of the FoTB The Fotb is set up as a Foundation model Trust in line with the guidelines published by the Charity Commission for England and Wales. This means that the group is managed by a Board of Trustees who are the only voting members of the Trust. Trustees may be divided into three categories, all of whom have full and equal voting rights. (i) Appointed Trustees are Trustees elected to membership by the serving Trustees as specified in Section 10(1) of the Trust’s Constitution. Appointed Trustees are subject to the same annual subscription rates as Associate Members. (ii) Ex officio Trustees serve by nature of their occupation of an office within another organisation as defined in Section 10(2) of the Trust’s Constitution. (iii) Nominated Trustees are Trustees nominated by outside bodies in accordance with Section 10(3) of the Trust’s Constitution. The Trustees of the Trust must at all times number at least three (3) persons but no more than eleven (11) persons. Associate (Non-Voting) Members of the FoTB There are three (3) classes of Associate Membership open to the public. Associate Members of the Trust will normally be volunteers with, or supporters of, the Friends of Trowbridge Bandstand, however the Trustees may, at their discretion, grant concessionary Associate Membership to a subject matter expert who possesses knowledge or expertise viewed as desirable by the Trustees. (i) Individual Membership is open to any individual person upon payment of the advertised annual subscription. (ii) Family Membership is open to up to adults and up to four (4) children under 16 years of age all of whom must be residing at the same address.The current family annual subscription is applied to each adult member of the family named on the application with named children under 16 being included free. All applicants named on a family membership MUST permanently reside at the same address. (iii) Group Membership is open to community groups, commercial bodies, charities or any other body of unrelated persons sharing a common interest. Group membership subscriptions will be by negotiation. * If you are interested in joining the Friends of Trowbridge Bandstand as an Associate Member please fill in the membership application form and return it to admin@fotb.org.uk Applicants for family membership should provide the contact member's details on the application form and all other family members' details on a separate sheet. Applicants for Group membership should contact the FoTB for more details and to discuss your organisation's requirements. * Annual subscription (currently £10.00 per person) is reviewed annually at the FoTB's Annual General Meeting.
